Custom whiskey glass engraving provides a permanent way to add logos, artwork or personalized designs directly to customer-supplied glassware. For this Ottawa project, the client supplied a matching pair of whiskey glasses to be engraved with the same LRG logo artwork.
The design included large stylized lettering with smaller text underneath, requiring the artwork to remain recognizable while fitting within the available engraving area on each curved glass. Consistent sizing and placement were also important because the two finished glasses were intended to form a matching set.
What Did the Client Want Engraved?
The client wanted the same supplied logo engraved onto two matching whiskey glasses.
Rather than adding individual names or different messages, this project required identical artwork to be reproduced consistently on both pieces.
The design combined large graphic lettering with smaller text, so the complete logo needed to be sized appropriately for the front engraving area without losing the relationship between its individual elements.
What Was the Whiskey Glass Engraving Challenge?
Glass presents different engraving considerations from wood or coated metal.
The laser creates a frosted appearance on the glass surface, meaning the artwork needs to remain readable through contrast and texture rather than colour.
For this custom whiskey glass engraving project, the artwork also needed to be positioned consistently on two curved glasses so they would appear coordinated when displayed together.
What We Produced
We prepared the supplied LRG artwork for laser engraving and engraved the complete design directly onto both customer-supplied whiskey glasses.
The same artwork size and general positioning were maintained across the pair, creating a consistent branded appearance.
No stickers, vinyl lettering or printed graphics were added. The logo was permanently engraved directly onto the glass surface.
What Was the Result?
The finished pair features matching frosted logo engraving while preserving the original clear appearance and detailed base design of the glasses.
The large lettering remains prominent, while the smaller elements of the supplied artwork remain incorporated into the overall design.
This project demonstrates our ability to engrave customer-supplied whiskey glasses with logos and detailed artwork, whether the project involves an individual glass or multiple matching pieces requiring consistent placement.
Can You Bring Your Own Whiskey Glasses for Engraving?
Yes. Laser Engraving Ottawa works with many customer-supplied glasses and other compatible glassware.
Clients can provide logos, names, dates, messages or suitable artwork for review. Projects can include a single personalized glass, matching sets or multiple pieces requiring the same branding.
Because glass shape, wall thickness and available engraving areas can vary, the individual product and artwork are reviewed before engraving.
